Who we are
Address Hub Ltd ("we", "us") provides business address and mail handling services in the United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. You can contact us at contact@addresshubuk.co.uk.
What we collect
- Contact details: your full name, email address and phone number.
- Business details: your company name and related information.
- Identity documents: the photo ID you upload, such as a passport or driving licence.
- Payment information: handled by our payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.
- Your post: scans of letters we receive on your behalf.
Why we use it
- To set up and run your business address and mail service (performance of our contract with you).
- To verify your identity before providing an address, as required by UK anti-money laundering law (legal obligation).
- To contact you about your account, your post and your renewal (performance of contract and legitimate interests).
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for third-party marketing.
Your photo ID
Your ID is used only to verify who you are. It is stored securely, accessed only by staff who need it for these checks, and never published or displayed on this website or anywhere else.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers who help us run the service, such as our payment provider and the secure systems we use to manage customer records and forms. They may only use it on our instructions. We may also share information where the law requires it, for example with HMRC or law enforcement.
How long we keep it
We keep your records for as long as you use our service. Identity and due diligence records are kept for five years after our relationship ends, as UK anti-money laundering regulations require. Mail scans are kept for as long as your account is active unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
How we protect it
We use secure, access-controlled systems and encrypted connections to protect your information.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information, or to restrict or object to how we use it. Some information, such as ID records, must be kept for the legal period above even if you ask us to delete it. To make a request, email contact@addresshubuk.co.uk.
Complaints
If you're unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
